Kitchen steward wanted in Broome County

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Broome County, New York. You will be based in a hospital canteen. Day to day you will empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Requirements: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
