Machinist — Gila County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Gila County, Arizona. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
