Tiling assistant — Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Shelby County, Indiana. You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
