Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Nelson County, North Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
