EHS coordinator — Floyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Floyd County, Virginia. The job is at an oil and gas facility. The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
