Vacancy available: tile mason (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Your main tasks: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
