Machinist — Dukes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Dukes County, Massachusetts. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 1+ years on the tools preferred.
