We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Larue County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
