Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Rotating shifts.
