Backhoe loader operator — Cattaraugus County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Cattaraugus County, New York. Your main tasks: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
