Ironing operator — Oyi

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Oyi, Anambra State. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
