Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Rotating shifts.
