Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Llano County, Texas. The job is at a cold storage facility. You should have: • Willing to travel between sites • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Day to day you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
