Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Union County, Mississippi. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
