Trainee butcher wanted in Giwa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Giwa, Kaduna State. The job is at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
