EHS coordinator • Tyrrell County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
