Argon welding operator — Blaine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Blaine County, Idaho. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
