Elevator repair technician — Nacogdoches County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The job is in a residential tower block. The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
