Immediate opening: powder coating technician (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Kings County, New York. You will be based in a busy paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time Requirements: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
