Restoration bricklayer • Haralson County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Haralson County, Georgia. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. You will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
