Safety inspector — Ibadan South West

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Ibadan South West, Oyo State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
