Pipe tig welder — Rio Blanco County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
