Groundsman — Surry County

Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Surry County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
