Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
