Core maker — Washington Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Washington Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
