Garment presser — Hamblen County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Hamblen County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine You will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
