Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Angelina County, Texas. You will work in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
