Plant operator (dozer) — Hampshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Hampshire, England. You will work on a road construction project. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Your main tasks: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
