Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will work in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
