We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Polk County, Missouri. You will be based at a shipyard. Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
