Plant operator wanted in Providence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Providence County, Rhode Island. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Good attention to detail and steady hands At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
