Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Lee County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. You will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Full-time, day shift.
