We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Calhoun County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
