Insulation worker — Walker County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation worker in Walker County, Alabama. The role involves: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Requirements: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
