Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Menard County, Illinois. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
