What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Full-time, day shift. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
