Now hiring: concrete shuttering carpenter (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Winnebago County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
