Steel fixer wanted in Jibia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Jibia, Katsina State. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements ₦1,350 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
