VMC operator — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
