Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Jasper County, Indiana. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Six days a week, one day off.
