Falsework carpenter — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
