Tailor machinist — Odukpani

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Odukpani, Cross River State. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
