Cement mason — Patani

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Patani, Delta State. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 1+ years on the tools preferred.
