Excavator operator wanted in Stokes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Stokes County, North Carolina. You will work in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging.
