Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lorry driver in Hays County, Texas. The job is at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
