We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Henry County, Illinois. You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
