Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Boyd County, Kentucky. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. The role involves: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Part-time with flexible hours.
