Head butcher — Hood County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Hood County, Texas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
