Blocklayer • Epe, Lagos State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Epe, Lagos State. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Six days a week, one day off.
