Crawler dozer operator — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Day to day you will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
